Single Source.
To many, a single source loudspeaker seems like another modern technical term. What they don't know is that this technology is a true classic that was rediscovered by Wolf von Langa in the 1970s and improved with our own speaker drive technology in 2016.
To do that, we had to let go of many established options and develop a new speaker concept based on the principle of a point source. A point source is known as the perfect foundation for authentic reproduction of music.
Historical single source designs used a waveguide/transmission line which, unfortunately, caused a delay in the portrayal of low frequency sounds. Multi-way speaker systems are frequently used to reproduce all available frequencies. Those systems require the utmost precision while tuning bass, midrange, and high frequency drive units. When successful, it causes the listener to think the music flows from just one single source.
We've developed our own drive technology and combined that with the use of extra electromagnetic low frequency units to create the AUDIO FRAME LONDON. This speaker creates a very homogenous sound presented from a single source. All drive units work together frameless and open. The wideband system is angled symmetrically to the listening position in order to perfectly couple the dipole bass range into the room.
The fullrange loudspeaker, invented by the Englishmen Paul Voight from London, inspired the name of our system: LONDON. You can easily listen to the flow of music for hours and let the single source sound roll over you in one continuous calming wave. It's a beautiful speaker.
